Swimming Pools

Strong point of the Hotel Petrarca are undoubtedly its seven thermal pools.

The salty-bromic-iodic waters spring forth at a temperature of 87°C, they are cooled down at different temperatures and then channeled into the pools, in order to give our guests the choice of ambience and different situations.

Inside our guests will find a huge pool with different hydro massages:
• hydro massages barrels
• hydro massages beds
• Jacuzzi basin
• Japanese way
• Kneipp cure

Inside there is a pool for those who wish to swim in a indoor ambience, but there are also hydro massages for the plantar massage. These two indoor pools are linked with two outdoor thanks to practical passages, so during the winter time the guests can swim outside wrapped by the thermal warmth.

The indoor pools have many hydro massages: waterfalls hydro massages for the neck and shoulder area and hydro massages beds. Surrounded by the huge park of 40.000 m2 there are other two outdoor pools: the original Aphrodite pool with a low level of water to allow children to play while their moms can relax on the beds; and near there is a pool with a nice waterfall mushroom.

Besides, for those who don't want to give up an healthy sport activity is at their disposal an Olympic pool with upstream current.

Pools are opened every day from 8.30 a.m to 10 p.m.
