Gauguin and the Impressionists in Padua

From 29. September 2018 until the 27 January 2019

Padua becomes the capital of Impressionism from September 29th until January 27th.

Palazzo Zabarella, in the historical center of the city, hosts "Gauguin and the Impressionists, masterpieces from the Ordrupgaard Collection".

The event will allow you to admire an amazing selection of works from the collection created in the early twentieth century by the banker, insurer, Councilor of State and philanthropist Wilhelm Hansen and his wife Henny.

Collection still considered one of the most beautiful European collections of Impressionist art. In the exhibition at Palazzo Zabarella, in fact, none of the great names of Impressionism will be lacking, accompanied by the famous masters who preceded the movement and its magnificent followers: Corot, Courbet, Sisley, Pissaro, Degas, Manet, Monet, Berthe Morisot, Renoir, Cézanne, Gauguin, Matisse.

Exhibition timetable:

From Saturday 29 September 2018 to Sunday 27 January 2019.

From Tuesday to Sunday 10am-7pm.

The ticket office closes at 6:15pm.

Closed on Monday.

Special openings:

Thursday 1 November, Saturday 8 December, Wednesday 26 December, Tuesday 1 January, Sunday 6 January.

Extraordinary closure:

Tuesday 25 December.
