Allow demons and witches, sphinxes and vampires to lead you into the darkest corners of the human soul, in search of a unique period in the history of Western civilization - between 1880 and 1925 - when an interest in esotericism resurfaced overwhelmingly, flooding the figurative arts, literature and architecture of the Old Continent with its mysterious impressions.

Thus giving rise to artistic trends such as Symbolisms and new theories like psychoanalysis, which shared a desire to investigate the dreams, the unconscious and especially the occult - healds of the 20th-century avant-garde movements that would soon spring into being.
