All swimming-pools are fed with thermal water at different temperatures from 28° C to 36° C so that you can swim and relax out in the open air even during the coldest periods.
Furthermore, when you immerse yourself in this water, you will immediately feel a sensation of wellbeing and muscular relaxation induced by numerous waterjets.
Our seven swimming-pools
The Dolphins’ swimming-pool
This swimming-pool is directly connected to the large outdoor swimming-pool (i.e. the Dolphins’ swimming-pool).
It is rectangular and perfect for those who want to swim. It is equipped with a counter current water jet and hydromassages for the soles of the feet.
The outdoor swimming-pool is characterized by a long and narrow part that, beyond the quaint wooden bridge, opens into a wider rectangular section for swimming.
The outdoor section is equipped with two fountains for massaging the shoulder area.
The indoor therapeutic thermal swimming-pool.
This indoor swimming-pool is connected to an outdoor swimming-pool; temperatures vary from 34° C to 36°C. It is one of the largest pools of the thermal area and it is equipped with various types of water jets:
Indoors:
- Bed with water jets
- Chairs with crossed hydromassage water jet
- A bath for a plantar water massage
- Japanese-style bridge
- A bench for crossed hydromassage water jet
- Barrels for crossed hydromassage water jet
- Fontain for shoulder massage
Outdoors:

- Jacuzzi pool
Indoors, besides the large therapeutic swimming-pool, there is a Jacuzzi pool with thermal water and hydromassage jets for the back and soles of the feet.
Kneipp course
Indoors, adjacent to the large therapeutic swimming-pool, there is a large pool with 2 different courses: one with 17° C water and the other with 35° C water; the blood circulation is stimulated by passing alternatively from the cold water to the warm water.
River stones cover the floor to massage the feet, while special nozzles blow pressurized water that helps the oxygenation of the lower limbs.
The body is not completely immersed - only the legs up to the calves. The treatment enhances the blood circulation. Therefore, the organs, skin, nerve centers are better supplied with blood and the immune system is stimulated and strengthened.
These benefits spread over both the body and the mind and give a deep sensation of wellbeing.

The Olympic-size swimming pool, a one-of-a-kind pool in Abano and Montegrotto, stands apart for its dimensions!
This swimming-pool, 50 m long and 20 m wide and equipped with a countercurrent jet, is fed with colder water (28°C-29°C) and it is suitable for long swims. The depth ranges from 1.35 m. to 1.85 m.
The swimming-pool for adults and children with the “mushroom”
It is next to the Olympic-size swimming-pool and it is perfect for both adults and children because it has different depths. It is characterized by a waterfall jet that flows out from a mushroom in the centre of the swimming-pool: in the deepest section, there are water jets. Temperatures range between 28°C and 30°C.
Aphrodite’s swimming-pool
This swimming-pool is a one-of-a-kind pool in Abano and Montegrotto!
From one side, the water is shallow, only 30 cm, and equipped with sun beds that are perfect for laying down in the summer whether to tan or simply relax in the middle of water: a real pleasant sensation!
The other side is 60 cm deep and designed for children who can have fun with two slides.
A large Jacuzzi tank, for a max of 10 people, is located in the center of the pool.
Temperatures range between 28°C and 30°C.
